The Lab of Acoustics Sensing and Information Processing (LASIP) of the Graduate Program in Architectural Acoustics at the School of Architecture is dedicated to understanding the fundamental theory and development of acoustic signal processing technologies that advance the state of the art of sensing detection methodologies and advanced analysis methodologies in communication acoustics with applications in architectural acoustics and acoustics in general. The faculty along with Ph.D. and graduate students have created a stimulating atmosphere in the Laboratory and have established a recognizable track record in the following research fields: (see also: Publications)

LASIP's research is divided into four main areas:

    Advanced Architectural Acoustics Measurement Technology

    Acoustics Sensing and Detection

    Bayesian Analysis in Architectural Acoustics

    Signal Processing in Acoustics
